University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) which Works under ODTU(Middle East Technical University) Informatics Institute announced Turkey’s best ten universities.
In the research which includes 130 universities in Turkey, ODTU ranked as the number one with 756,67 points. While Hacettepe University takes the second place with 720.42 points, İstanbul University was ranked as the third with 702.55 points.
The list was made according to the universities’ number of articles, articles per academician, citation, citation per academician, number of total academic documents, academic documents per academician, number of doctorate students, doctorate students’ ratio, and number of students per academician.
The list of Top Ten universities of Turkey made by URAP TR 2016-2017 is as follows:
