Mount Ararat- the highest peak of Turkey

 The higest peak of Turkey is Mount Ararat (turkish: Ağrı)The massif of Ararat is around 40 km.

The mountins of Ararat have a great significance since it was mentioned in the Great Book of Genesis that Noah's Ark had it's stop after the great flood .

Mount Ararat has actually 2 peaks- one is named Greater Ararat which is 5,137 m and the other one is Lesser Ararat and the heigh of this one is 3,896 m :)
